My primary goal is to create a unique album that reflects your love on that day and that every time you open its pages you’ll not only see, but also relive your wedding day.
I enjoy wedding photography because it challenges a photographer like no other type of photography. It encompasses the full spectrum of photographing; not only the physical human form, but also human emotions.
On the technical side, I believe a good wedding photographer must be versed in portrait, group, and child photography, both in the studio and on location. All of this plus candid and photojournalism styles are a requirement for a wedding photographer. An eye for detail and a vision beyond the normal are part of what I offer.
On the emotional side, within a few moments the lives of two people are meshed into one for the rest of their lives. Love, excitement, laughter and tears are all experienced within this relatively brief time frame. It is though the photographer’s eye that these elements come together into a comprehensive story of your wedding day.
One of the buzzwords in wedding photography is “passion.” If a photographer has passion for his work he should be able to communicate it not in words, but in his work. You should not have to ask if someone is passionate about their work; you should it see it and feel it in every picture.
I do not shoot mass production weddings. I do one wedding a month. This gives me time to make each wedding an individually crafted personal work of art and keep up with new developments in wedding photography.
I believe good wedding pictures start with an engagement session. This is why I've included engagement session in all my packages. I don’t charge extra for these sittings. This gives all of us the chance to talk and build rapport. During the engagement session, I get to catch a glimpse of your personalities and you mine. I use this when I scout out the wedding location; all of this helps me with ideas that I think will work for you. This is one of those details I hope you can see in my work.
My convictions are so strong on this manner that I’ve included links to two of the most comprehensive Omaha wedding photographers resources: wedj.com and Omahabrides.com . Something you won’t see any other photographer do. Why would I do this? Because I know that as a new couple my storybook will be your first family heirloom. If you're not happy, I'm not happy. Your happiness when choosing a wedding photographer is more important than a sale.
